Design for a Better World

Upon graduating from College in '86, a year of soul searching was in order. After spending a few months working as an architectural intern, a slide library technician and a night manager while studying German language, I went to live in West Berlin in 1987. Absorbing the hundreds, the thousands of years of Art and Architecture, learning about a lifestyle in tune with the Earth, I evolved into a new person. For the next 3 years, I exhibited my Art in galleries around New England and Yugoslavia. A career in Interior Architecture was in order and I then turned to the BAC for an Interiors Certificate receiving an award for Best Interiors Thesis. From then on I've worked in firms large and small. [see my linked in profile http://www.linkedin.com/in/stevenwychorski ]. Many of my clients have been heavy hitters in the world of business and academia: Harvard University, Gillette, Liberty Mutual, Standard and Poors to name just a few. Since '92 each and every project has contained some elements of sustainable design. Years ahead of the Green Curve! As of 2007, I've been a certified LEED professional. As of 2010, I've been a BPI certified Energy Analyst and Building Envelope Professional.
This Blog will promote the work I've completed and any in process. With about a many LEED certified projects under my belt, I bring in depth LEED experience to your project if you choose to pursue LEED attributed design or certified design.  Even the smallest project is designed holistically. It's been a part of my design philosophy for 24 years.
Along with Holistic Design, my business experience with clients is unparalleled. Give me your hardest challenge and I will make it the smoothest experience you will have. With 20 years experience in Architecture, Interiors and Project Management, you have a seasoned professional who will complete your projects on time and within budget.
As a dedicated mentor I've revived my blog on Socially Conscious Guide for LEED APs to include advice for everyday living to be socially conscious. Formally located on wordpress, it is now to be found here at:
